Billabourie Status : Stage 5 Engagement : Masterplanning, Architecture, Interior Design and Nestled in the rolling hills of the Australian NSW bush, this passion project transforms a forgotten pasture into a luxurious rural escape that blends natural beauty with timeless elegance. Curated by Richard Haigh, founder of Parterre, the bespoke home draws on his 40 years of expertise in global antique sourcing. The barn’s interior is a refined collection of 18th-century European antiques, featuring a Parisian library staircase, intricate handcrafted wallpaper by Nathanelle Lobjoy, and other carefully chosen pieces that evoke both sophistication and history. This exceptional sanctuary harmoniously fuses rustic charm with global craftsmanship, offering a unique retreat that celebrates the past while embracing the tranquility of its breathtaking bushland setting. Randwick House Status : Complete Engagement : Architecture, Interior Design and Landscaping This design project in Randwick embodies the Parterre aesthetic, blending modern living with a touch of European flair. Externally, we rejuvenated a tired courtyard with new herringbone tiling, an elegant oak pagoda, and thoughtful planting, complemented by carefully selected lighting to enhance the fluidity between indoor and outdoor spaces. Inside, the minimalist architecture allows the bespoke furnishings to take center stage, highlighting the elegance and craftsmanship of each piece. The result is a harmonious fusion of contemporary style and timeless luxury, creating a home that feels both refined and effortlessly livable.
