Danseuse is a bronze sculpture by Raffaella Benetti. It is one of the protagonists of a project named Les Danseuses – The Dancers – together with Applauso and Danzatrice. The project is an observation and portrayal of the feminine in an exalted way. It shows us the Dancers’ reality, their spontaneous and authentic way of life. The ensemble of Dancers reveals the process of metamorphosis, the secret of the internal life and the spiritual tension of our time.
Danseuse is an elegant and sensuously shaped bronze sculpture. Raffaella’s bronzes are beautifully texturised and skillfully patinated, which gives them a rich hue.
