Jacques Vanroose, now living in Bruges, was born in Kortrijk on 5 June, 1943. Jacques studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bruges. He has dedicated himself completely to the creation of sculpture in bronze and ceramics. His style is mainly figurative with expression of motion. For his latest collection Jacques has developed the sculptures Beau, Emotion, Force, Reaching, Struggle, Escape, Elegance, On The Move and shown here Eclipse.
