The uniqueness of this bench, beyond its obvious good looks, is in what you cannot see. The backrest can be easily detached from the teak frame to allow for compact storage, as well as for quick upholstery removal for cleaning. The backrest may look like a thick strap woven around a metal frame, but the Calypso doesn’t have the disadvantages such chairs have when it comes to maintenance. The upholstered covers come in over 70 choices of fabrics so simply change the colour of your outdoor dining set to match your mood, season, or event!
For those who are more into the natural look and feel of woven fibres, we have created our own original Calypso KRISKROS weaving pattern, using three different tones of synthetic outdoor fibre that blend together perfectly. All Calypso items can be fitted either with a woven backrest or with a woven textile.
